The backing paper is made of non-woven fabric or PU film membrane (PU) coating medical pressure-sensitive; The core is made of alginate fibers from mixture of a certain percentage of alginate and water textiled by the way of wet spinning; Isolation is paper gration. When Alginate dressings contact with wound drainage, sodium from drainage exchanges with calcium from alginate into gel. So a gel layer is formed between the wound and dressing, providing a good wet environment to promote wound healing. At the same time, the gel can block blood capillary haemorrhage and the release of calcium ions is a natural clotting factors, which can accelerate the blood coagulation, participate in the hemostasis process, provide a certain amount of hemostatic effect.
